Our mission includes providing counseling scholarships for individuals in need, ensuring that everyone has access to professional support during challenging times. We are also committed to offering support kits for grieving families, filled with resources and items to provide comfort and guidance as they navigate loss. Additionally, we aim to increase understanding and reduce stigma through funding for mental health awareness workshops, empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and tools needed to prioritize their emotional health. Together, these programs reflect our vision of building a compassionate and resilient community where no one faces their struggles alone.

The ItsReal Initiative is proud to launch a program dedicated to providing free haircuts for elementary school-aged children at our flagship school in Gwinnett County. We believe every child deserves to feel confident and cared for as they step into the classroom. This initiative aims to ease the financial burden on families while promoting self-esteem and a positive sense of self for students. By partnering with local barbers and stylists, we are creating a supportive community network that ensures these young learners can focus on what truly matters—thriving academically and personally. Together, we are fostering hope, dignity, and opportunity, one haircut at a time.
Spreading Kindness: The ItsReal Initiative’s First Act of Generosity
The ItsReal Initiative, founded to address real needs and create meaningful impact in the community, recently launched its first act of kindness—donating turkeys to hardworking individuals during the Thanksgiving season. This initiative was made possible through a partnership with MTM Management Services and was aimed at supporting employees of Evergreen, a division of Insight Global, in the Atlanta area.
Recognizing the financial and logistical challenges that the holidays can bring, The ItsReal Initiative teamed up with Evergreen to identify employees who could benefit from this thoughtful gesture. To make the process engaging and fair, the company held a raffle, allowing employees to enter for a chance to win one of 20 turkeys donated through the partnership. The response was overwhelmingly positive, as this small act of kindness resonated deeply with many employees.
One raffle winner shared a heartwarming testimonial about the impact of the initiative:
"I decided that I wanted to host Thanksgiving this year and waited until the last minute to get a turkey. The day before the drawing, I thought, ‘What if I won a free turkey at work?’ and the next day I won one! I was so shocked and grateful that Evergreen did something so special for us and saved me the time and money. Thank you!!"
