Who We Are

The ItsReal Initiative was created from a place of love, loss, and a deep commitment to making sure no one has to walk through life’s hardest moments alone.

Founded in honor of Israel “Izzy” Price, our work carries forward his spirit of kindness, generosity, and compassion for others. What began as a legacy has grown into a movement rooted in purpose — to uplift, support, and empower individuals and families through meaningful connection and action.

We believe that healing happens in community, and that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Izzy had been singing since he was six years old, his voice a source of joy, confidence, and self-expression. Music was where he felt the most at home, a space where he could be free from the bullying he endured. But everything changed when he suffered a traumatic brain injury from a severe blow to the head. The impact was devastating—he had to relearn how to walk and talk, and we feared he might never sing or perform again.

Despite the challenges, Izzy refused to let his injury define him. He made a vow that he would never be a victim again. With unwavering determination, he fought to regain not only his strength but also his voice. Music became his motivation, pushing him through the difficult days of recovery. When he finally stepped back on stage, it was more than just a performance—it was a triumph. His confidence soared, and the stage became his sanctuary, a place where he was no longer powerless but empowered.

Izzy’s story is a testament to resilience, the healing power of music, and the importance of self-expression. He proved that no setback, challenge, or act of cruelty could silence him. His journey continues to inspire others to find their voice, embrace their passion, and never let adversity steal their dreams.

As part of our commitment to the community, we are taking steps to close the gap for students and families at a flagship school in Gwinnett County. By addressing critical needs in this community, we are creating opportunities for children and families to thrive.

Through our programs—such as mentorship for personal growth, anti-bullying advocacy initiatives, and music and art therapy for self-expression—we aim to break barriers and foster a compassionate and resilient community. The ItsReal Initiative is more than a nonprofit; it’s a movement dedicated to honoring lives, empowering change, and making a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. Together, we are carrying forward Israel’s vision of love and hope.
